Job description

Our client in Jersey City is in need of 2 inventory clerk/admin. Experience in MS Word and Excel. This is not a desk job. Will check inventory but all in computer or looking at showroom. No lifting. 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct cycle counts on a daily basis, using inventory system and google sheets to audit and reconcile as needed.
  • Audit inventory locations to ensure items are labeled accurately and with all barcodes and hangtags needed.
  • Direct Interaction with Inventory Department.
  • Train and monitor new employees that will assist with task assigned.
  • Partner with purchasing and design to identify items correctly.
  • Complete primary inventory transactions to ensure stock and availability levels are accurate.
  • Update inventory details (images, vendors, dimensions) based on on-hand and manufacturer information.
  • Assist INBOUND and OUTBOUND departments locating and researching items as needed.
  • Complete inventory related projects focused on specific categories as needed by operation.
  • Document and change availability on noticeable quality control issues for QC follow up.
  • Must be able to stand and climb rolling ladders to access inventory bins throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
  • Flexible to schedule changes (hours and/or days) when necessary to fit the needs of the Company.
  • Maintain all warehouse areas clean and neat.
  • Help maintain and enforce warehouse processes and procedures.
