Job description

Capital-Markets-Advisors (CMA) is a boutique staffing and consultancy firm. Our client a global Fintech leader with a collaborative, challenging, and rewarding environment, has a project (currently remote) that requires a senior analyst contractor.

The candidate will be performing/ orchestrating conversions and have experience with the BR BPS system. The applicant will prepare workflows, perform gap analysis, define business requirements, create development specifications, create /execute test plans, scripts, prepare training materials, conduct training sessions, and write conversion data mapping documents.

Responsibilities

• Partner successfully with all stakeholders from project initiation through project implementation (SDLC).
• Craft documentation that outlines the proposed solution and project delivery plan. (governance, business requirements documentation, partner documentation, etc.)
• Experience in brokerage processing conversions with an emphasis on functions typically supported in Brokerage Industry/Operations.
• Must have experience with conversions and with the BR BPS system.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with managers and peers, both verbally and in writing, to address issues and facilitate interactions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Skills

• Experience in brokerage processing with an emphasis on functions typically supported in Brokerage Industry/Operations.
• Must have experience with conversions and with the BR BPS system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and issues and develop and implement sound solutions.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• knowledge of brokerage industry processes
• Ability to effectively communicate with managers and peers, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing to address issues and facilitate interactions
• Participate in fostering a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Additional (plus) skills:

• Any specific experience with, Suspense, Stock Record, Balancing, Fails, No Name Accounts, Chart of Accounts, CNS Balancing, DTCC, SPO's, ACAT, Dividend & Reorg Postings, Depot Reconciliations both Cash and Stock.
• Any experience with Optional Dividend processing
• Experience with government, mortgage-backed, and asset-backed securities.
• Experience with reorg and brokerage industry.
• Experience with brokerage processing, tax reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $125.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Brokerage Industry/Operations: 3 years (Required)
• Converting brokerage firms onto Broadridge back-office: 1 year (Required)
