The Quality Control Manager is responsible for driving the vision, strategy, management, and evolution of the site's Quality Control Laboratory's activities for Medical Products and Refining Evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising staff and maintaining quality control processes, analysing the results and giving feedback and guidance to the team under the direct supervision.
  • Provides absolute confidence that analytical accuracy and precision are maintained while ensuring laboratory operations meet business and customer needs.
  • Reviews completed laboratory control records of critical process steps before release of the products for distribution.
  • Makes sure that critical deviations are investigated and resolved in laboratory
  • Provides direction, leadership and coaching to QA and QC personnel.
  • Sets, tracks, analyses, and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Participates in cross-functional team investigation and root cause analysis of corrective actions. Presents formal responses of findings to customers as required.
  • Serves as JM quality expert for resolution of product-related technical laboratory problems.
  • Plans, directs, and leads continual improvement activities and actively promotes lean manufacturing methodologies (5S) throughout the organization.
  • To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Are you the ideal candidate?
  • B.A. or B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical field preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience supervisory/management preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality System Management preferred
  • Ability to lead an effective team at various organizational levels
  • Ability to construct and carry out diverse plans and priorities within specific timetables
