PCS is looking to accelerate its transformation from a highly successful business-process-driven organization into a modern digital product-driven organization offering differentiating advisor, sponsor, TPA and participant digital experiences. We are looking to hire highly skilled financial technology experts across a number of job families to aid this acceleration, drive growth, and enable ultra-efficient operations.
Position Accountability
Lead the functional and technical aspects of PCS's Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform capabilities and operations. This role will stretch functional design to hands on development and administration. Ensure our Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment adheres to industry best practices and helps drive successful marketing and sales campaigns for PCS and it's clients alike. You will be responsible for identifying and managing business requirements, functional design, journey mapping, feasibility analysis, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations to support Marketing goals (growth, engagement, brand consistency, or loyalty).
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage PCS's cross-channel customer engagement strategy, with a focus on Email campaigns, including design and development as it pertains to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Hands-on identification, definition, prioritization, and execution of maintenance changes to PCS's Marketing Cloud environment
- Partner with PCS's Marketing department to create content and launch digital marketing campaigns
- Code campaigns and coordinate campaign development with SFDC technical teams
- Lead Marketing analytics implementation and operations
- Create and propose ideas for Advertising campaign ideation, development, and execution
- Stay current on platform releases for Salesforce Marketing Cloud regarding new product roadmaps and create the plan to implement those that provide business value.
- Create and maintain Data Extensions, Data Filters, update subscriber lists and create segmentation groups.
- Integrate with other data sources (MS Azure SQL Databases) outside of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to provide an even greater level of personalization and possibilities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of combined professional experience in digital marketing, marketing operations or marketing technology
- 3+ years deep knowledge and hands-on experience of SFMC from execution of programs, to systems design, database management and administration perspectives, including Journey Builder
- Hands-on Salesforce configuration and development skills with experience delivering back-office business applications with a focus on automation and data quality.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification (Marketing Cloud Developer Certification Preferred)
- Fluency in Marketing Cloud scripting languages (AMPScript) and SQL skills
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Email campaigns and optimizing open rates to clients
- Experienced in advanced segmentation, and data configuration
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking (campaign metrics)
- Some proficiency in SFDC Administrative task like Users, Page Layouts, Work Flows, Approvals, Validation Rule, Formula, Reports and Dashboards.
- Experience in developing integrations between Salesforce and external applications using API's and/or data feeds
- Experience in Salesforce Sandbox Management and Release Management using Change Sets
- Strong knowledge of web technologies like XML, JSON, HTML, Java Script, etc.
- Ability to interface with executives, including assessing and communicating risk
- Strong verbal and written communications, adept at explaining complex technical concepts and sharing your knowledge with diverse audiences
- B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
