Villa Restaurant Group - Corporate Headquarters is looking to hire Business Analyst. A Business Analyst is responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis within an organization. Their duties include organizing data points, communicating between upper management, operations, and the IT department and analyzing data to determine a corporations needs and identify and implement opportunities. The primary duty of the Business Analyst is to transform data into insight that can help to improve the value of the business. This is a full time opportunity.

Qualifications

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

• Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization
• Providing insight through analytics to improve business processes
• Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
• Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company's mission
• Collaborate with the field operations team, management, and IT to implement and improve labor and food cost management, through the implementation of Fourth/HotSchedules software.
• Participate in regular business review meetings designed to review Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and analyzing performance variance.
• Analyzing business requirements and processes and recommending them to the management and executives for implementation
• Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills
• The ability to work both as a team and independently
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Programming and modeling experience (MS Excel, SQL, Python, etc)
• Experience with data visualization tools and creating dashboards
• Proper knowledge on business policies and regulations
• An understanding of budgeting procedures, methods, evaluation criteria and resource planning
• Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deliverables
• Strong management and leadership skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 4yr Business Degree preferred in business, economics, information science or related field.
• 3+ years in an analytical position
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification would be a plus.
