Job description

Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas, LLP provides a culture of professional excellence through a team of high caliber employees. As a full-service law firm committed to success, we are seeking a part time Human Resources Coordinator to work approximately 25 hours per week. This position would provide ongoing support to the Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and process payroll, garnishments, deductions and paid time off accruals
  • Maintain and update payroll records and employee files
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR and payroll matters
  • Responsible for maintaining HR compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Assist in the recruitment process by: posting job ads, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens and scheduling interviews
  • Participate and support all firm related initiatives and events
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects assigned by the Director of Human Resources

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate should have 2+ years of Payroll and Human Resources related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset
  • Professional, organized, detail oriented and have both excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of discretion, judgement, and confidentiality
