Note: As directed by Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, effective December 8, 2021, Hexagon US Federal will require all new contractors, in the United States, must be fully vaccinated before their start date.

Clearance: A minimum of an Interim DOD SECRET security clearance is required, but contract will hold up to TOP SECRET.

This position serves as a software Developer on all software-related issues pertaining to government software applications. Responsible for conduct of requirements analyses, development of functional and software specifications, coding, testing and deploying software. Works with team of developers, assigns priorities, obtains resources and monitors performance to ensure development and sustainment processes are in compliance with Capability Maturity Model (CMM) methodologies as needed to create proper versioning and repeatable builds of all business applications to ensure proper documentation of features and fixes are available to the user community.

Application development is a team environment that includes the user community, the database administrators, the web designers, and the systems/network engineers for optimal application design and performance of applications. This includes the coordination of software releases. Mentors team members in development technologies, CMM, and Object Oriented Programming/Design. Assist in refresh and/or enhancement of government software. Participates in meetings with end-users, prepares and conducts briefings and prepares technical papers as required. Candidate will need to maintain expertise in all technologies and component software of business applications.

Qualifications:

On-site representative will be trained and skilled in overall computer systems and applications as defined in this PWS. Candidate should be proficient with the following: C# 3.5 or greater, ASP.Net, WinForms, .NET Web Services/WCF, and Windows Services; MS SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Views, and Table design) and MS SQL Server Reporting Services 2008; MS SharePoint 2007 or greater; XML, XSL, XHTML, CSS, AJAX; and Javascript, JQuery in particular. Hands-on experience in Design Patterns is preferred.

Candidate should have 15 years of relevant professional experience in the use of similar application software and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Studies or a discipline related to the work required from an accredited college or university. Additional years of experience can be substituted years for education.

A current technical certification of Security+ CE is required. If the candidate does not have the certification he/she will need to complete within 3 months of start date.
