Sample Coordinator Olivia Miller Footwear

About The Role

The Olivia Miller Sample Coordinator is responsible for processing and tracking all production, development and ad samples from oversees to receiving as they move through the Production, Design and Sales departments.

Responsibilities

· Track and receive all Development (DVP), Pre-Production (PP) samples and (TOP) samples for all Olivia Miller and Olivia Miller Kids departments.

· Log samples into the company database, send to photography and prep the Production Coordinator for approval.

· Organize and prep PP samples for Fit processing.

· Provide daily updates on PP & TOP status and prioritize TOP approvals for Rush product.

· Maintain Sample Rooms/Library:

· File PP samples after approval.

· File TOP samples after approval.

· Manage location of PP & TOP samples in library.

· Clean out sample room/library quarterly based on filing criteria.

· Support the PD/Design/Buying teams to locate samples.

· Assist in shipping out samples to accounts and factories.

· Communicate with overseas office.

· Utilize the companies system.

· Other duties assigned by management as needed.

Required Skills

· Minimum 0-2 years' experience in Footwear or Accessories preferred

· Knowledge of Excel and Word

· Knowledge of E-Commerce platforms

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change

· Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills required

· Organized, proactive, and self-sufficient

· Ability to multitask and problem solve

· Exceptional attention to detail and quality control

· Ability to organize, prioritize, and reorder workload in a dynamic environment

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Ability to work with direct supervision and independently

· Work well with others at all levels in the organization.
