Job description
Job Summary:
The primary role of the PeopleSoft Technical Analyst is to assist in the implementations of new affiliates and upgrades or new releases relative to PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain and HR/Payroll applications. This person will be viewed as a subject matter expert and will be expected to support integrations with other applications that are interfaced upstream and downstream. He/she will be responsible for identifying issues, debugging and providing necessary customizations to applications to support business needs.
Essential Functions:
* Communicates and interacts effectively with all projects team personnel, user personnel, and department management.
* Coordinates activities of Systems Analysts and Programmers on all projects.
* Prioritizes activities and coordinates tasks according to project schedule.
* Coordinates schedules with IS Operations and Data Processing personnel regarding system processing and changes, as required.
* Informs Management of projects status, problems and projections, while completing assigned tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with project plan.
* Communicates specifications to the appropriate programming group.
* Provides data as requested through file extracts and systems reports for users department and external entities in a safe and secure manner.
* Works with team in any future onboarding of any new businesses.
* Required to stay on call schedule for off work hours and weekends.
* Demonstrates ability to understand how data flows through and between other systems applications.
* Performs any other functions within as demanded by management.
* Demonstrates ability to program application and understands application architecture.
* Schedules and monitors Process / Jobs required for processing.
* Supports windows and server teams to perform maintenance / patching / testing.
* Supports team in managing other applications supported & integrated.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor s degree required.
* Experience in the health care field helpful.
* Must be able to function in a fast-paced and challenging office environment.
* Must be able to accept customers need to constantly reprioritize projects.
* Ability to support enterprise applications like PeopleSoft and Lawson in HR, Payroll, AP, GL and Material management areas.
* Will be required to travel to different affiliates within the health care system as needed.
