Our 3D Printing team is looking to expand! We are hiring a Business Development Manager to support our Photopolymers business lines. Come and join our amazing team, and be part of an organization who is the market leader for 3D Printing!

The Business Development Manager Photopolymers position is critical to the continued growth and success of the market segment worldwide and specifically in the Americas region as the United States is the largest single market for this segment. This role will be responsible for business development activities and sales that maintain and grow existing business and create new business in High-Performance Polymers, with a focus on ready-to-use formulations in Additive Manufacturing, in its different technologies with many of our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify, develop, and grow new business development opportunities along with healthy projects pipeline within defined markets, executing regional business and sales growth plans for North America, also supporting global business strategies
• Support the Regional Marketing and Sales for 3D Printing by providing market intelligence, investigating assigned markets or applications. Establish and define market information including competing products, technologies, and companies, market size, growth, profitability, product specifications, customer needs, etc.
• Coordinate technical support as required with customer issues and business development projects, working with the Regional Technical Center and Technical group in Marl and Singapore.
• Implement the networking strategy that will support the generation of new sales opportunities. Identify and recommend or participate in relevant conferences, business & technical seminars, trade meetings, etc. to make new contacts and identify new business development opportunities.
• Support Evonik's Innovation culture by identifying additional products, features, services, etc. needed to differentiate Evonik from other competition

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical or Business BA/BS degree, complimented by 2 - 5 years of experience in the photo resins industry preferred.
• Proven record of market development performance in emerging technologies or system competition - a Hunter approach.
• Must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships both externally with customers/partners and internally
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Willingness to present to customers in one-on-one, in small groups, and lecture at events.
• Strong business and technical background with an ability to engage in technical discussions with customers/partners regarding product and application uses.
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis, more than 50% across all of North AmericaA team player, who can work collaboratively within the organization
• Creative thinker, who is openminded to thinking outside of the box.
• Previous experience working with or in a large global organization
