Campus Talent Program Manager will be highly regarded with an excellent track record in his or her current environment. The successful candidate must be a strong, decisive, results-oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships with a wide variety of partners based on trust and teamwork. The Program Manager will be responsible for leading program processes across the Consumer Investments and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management organization. The role is responsible for creating and managing the program design and driving program success in partnership with key LOB stakeholders while maintaining supporting relationships with the program members. Duties may include but are not limited to:
The Program Manager will partner with team members to:
- Review and revise alignment of program strategy with line of business talent needs
- Provide personal development/coaching to program participants
- Facilitate assignment manager training and ongoing manager routines.
- Build and maintain consultative stakeholder relationships across GHR and the lines of business to keep them informed on program processes and engaged in decision points.
- Manage, develop and support on-boarding and orientation processes with incoming participants including logistics, budget, and content.
- Partner with learning to maintain an ongoing learning strategy, and assist with planning and facilitating learning events.
- Partner with recruiting on strategy and process to attract the right talent. Support recruiting events as needed.
- Create and manage on-going communication routines and serve as the single point of contact for senior management and key stakeholders regarding metrics and outcomes.
- Partner with Comp team to set Compensation strategy for the Program.
Serves in a generalist and or L&LD capacity during full time Analyst / Associate program duration. Oversees and takes a leadership role in executing specific aspects of activity. Works with campus manager, HR executives and stakeholders in the business to develop strategy and execute on LOB early talent strategy and programs. Responsibilities: headcount, learning, compensation, ratings, performance mgmt, development, mobility, coaching, employee relations, knowledge of competitive landscape, etc.
Required Skills:
- Must have experience in two of the following areas: HR Generalist / Leadership Development / Learning /Recruitment / Finance
- Analytical and research skills - ability to communicate and analyze multi-dimensional data, draw conclusions, and evaluate business gaps & requirements
- Strong presentation skills, ability to develop audience appropriate PowerPoint presentations for executive level and contributor level audiences
- Demonstrated leadership, client engagement skills.
- Must have the ability to dive through data and interrupt to provide recommendations
- Ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Relationship building.
- Strong project management.
- Superior verbal and written communication.
- Prior performance coaching and talent planning experience
- Enterprise-wide thinking
- Ability to manage in a matrixed environment
- Bachelor's degree
