NA Marketing Manager


The Marketing Manager leads GBG's IPMI portfolio in the North America region and TieCare Educational division marketing and communications initiatives through multiple platforms, including digital, print and events. The Marketing Manager works closely with the Leadership and Sales teams to ensure effective communication and marketing of the company's diverse markets, products and capabilities. In conjunction with GBG's Corporate VP of Marketing, helps develop and execute the region's overarching marketing strategy.



This position will be based in Foothill Ranch, CA or Princeton, NJ with the hybrid flexibility work schedule.



Responsibilities include:

  • Understand GBG's product portfolio and business model.
  • Prepare an annual marketing plan for the region and present to GBG senior sales and marketing leadership for approval.
  • Responsible for the overall marketing expense budget for the region.
  • Work closely with various departments and sales team, on a continuous basis to develop and execute communications as needed.
  • Collaborate with GBG's marketing leadership to ensure consistency in branding and communications.
  • Creating and updating brochures, ads and flyers as requested using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Creating graphics and videos for social media posts per brand guidelines and scheduling via Oktopost.
  • Creating and executing email blasts to contact lists via Act-On.
  • Providing appropriate email and social media reporting on a quarterly basis.
  • Creating and updating policies, schedule of benefits and other product documents using Microsoft Word.
  • Update internal intranet and gbg.com website as needed via Statamic CMS.
  • Updating and creating PowerPoint presentations as requested.
  • Updating proposal templates, ensuring both accuracy and correct formatting.
  • Proofing marketing materials for accuracy as requested.
  • Provides general Marketing support and assistance as needed.


Required skills and experience

  • Superb writing and editing skills. Ability to learn and then communicate the GBG story.
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Management of multiple distribution channels, including print, digital and social media.
  • Detail-oriented, willing to learn, works well in a team.
  • Takes initiative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interest in international business.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • 10+ years of work experience in marketing, communications or journalism.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Fluent in English.

Additional Preferred Requirements

  • Working knowledge of insurance concepts. Previous U.S. insurance experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business or related field.
