Position : PeopleSoft System Administrator
Location : McLean, VA (Post COVID)
Duration : Long Term

The system administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing releases, upgrades or changes to the PeopleSoft application components. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Install, maintain, configure, and support the development and test environments and infrastructure for PeopleSoft
  • Coordinate the application of PUM images and other software patches/fixes for the PeopleSoft Financials application
  • Coordinate the application of upgrades and patches/fixes for PeopleTools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system anomalies and performance issues
  • Manage the technical configuration and patching for application servers, proxy servers, middleware and web servers for the Peoplesoft environments
  • Work with security teams to ensure system access, auditing, and security controls are in place and compliant to security policy
  • Work with DBA team to maintain PeopleSoft system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, and system load/stress testing
Assist PeopleSoft developers, systems analysts, and testers in their efforts as needed
