Team Overview: The successful candidate will join the Alternatives Client Services Team (ACS) and facilitate the preparation, completion, and oversight of components of global Regulatory and Tax Reporting requirements that BlackRock is required to comply with. Day to day responsibilities will center around the preparation and manipulation of data used to complete filings, coordination across multiple stakeholder groups, and ensuring deadlines are met for all reporting requirements. The ACS team support all of BlackRock's alternatives products, including hedge funds, hedge fund of funds, private credit, private equity, and real asset funds. The candidate's responsibilities and essential functions will include but are not limited to: Coordinating reporting for all global regulatory initiatives, which involves assisting in determining methodology and process, sourcing and submitting data, and maintaining supporting documentation for regulatory filings: Manipulating large amounts of data from multiple sources in order to homogenize it for use in regulatory reporting and internal stats and metrics: Maintaining a regulatory calendar to organize and track the status of all filings and deliverables to ensure BlackRock's compliance with all regulatory obligations: Identifying data gaps and liaising with members of the global Alternatives Client Service team for remediation in order preserve data integrity for downstream reporting: Continuously review and enhance procedures in order to gain efficiencies and streamline regulatory reporting: Serving as the key stakeholder for Alternatives Client Services on cross-functional internal working groups with respect to Tax and Regulatory reporting: Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the team on global regulations, such as AIFMD, FATCA, Common Reporting Standards, Dodd Frank (Form PF/PQR), Form D/Blue Sky, and other relevant country-specific regulations: 5-10 years' experience (desired but not required) working within a financial services or banking platform, with financial securities, private placements, and limited offerings a plus. The candidate is expected to have the following skills or knowledge: Advanced Excel skills such as macros, pivot tables, VBA, and various formulas. Experience with coding tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or others in order to develop automated processes. Knowledge of global regulations in the Investment Management industry.
