Overview:
Position Summary:

Execution of RFQ (Request for Quote) / RFI (Request for Information) in accordance with organization's strategy and process guidelines. Duties includes Airfreight, Ocean Freight Pricing and tender coordination with global peers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Tender Execution (Primary Duty)

Identify opportunity and strategy in conjunction with stakeholders (bid owner, product management, sales management and foreign peers)

Effectively manage tenders based on YL global tender process and agreed upon strategy for the optimal result for organization

Tender Pricing of US Outbound Airfreight, Ocean Freight and other US local fees following strategy from Product/Procurement management and Route Development Managers

Provide procurement support of Airfreight, Ocean freight and domestic transportation for tender specific opportunities

Validate proposal for accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with YL standards and customer requirements

Summarize shipping volume, feedback for analysis

Maintain and analyze KPI of tenders and price reference

Legal Liaison for Tender related contracts

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

Associates' Degree preferred with two or more years of related experience in International Freight Forwarding or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Intermediate Excel skills required with minimum understanding/knowledge of vlook-ups, formula writing, transfers between multiple sheets, transfers to graphs and charts and creation of pivot tables.

Ability to work well independently and under pressure to meet tender deadlines.
