Coordinator/PI

Responsibilities

This position requires maintaining appropriate documentation of PI plans, annual appraisals, and meetings including agendas and minutes, and assisting with implementation of initiatives as recommended by PI Committee. Participates in regulatory survey readiness activities. .Assists department leaders with apparent cause analyses of events in their areas and assist with the development of action plans that leaders will implement to help prevent a similar reoccurrence. Participates in the RCA process for applicable serious safety events.

Requirements:

RN with BSN required, MSN preferred.

Minimum 5 years' experience in acute care setting required. Healthcare and Performance Improvement experience preferred. Knowledge of nationally reported and benchmarked quality metrics is highly desirable. Must be able to identify, track, analyze and report on both process and outcome measures. Must be detail and analytically oriented with at least a basic knowledge of statistics. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to engage with all disciplines to help support ongoing compliance with quality and safety standards. Job candidate must be organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize, and work independently. Formal presentation skills are desirable Must be proficient with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
