Job description
Permanent Position- Chemist- Branchburg, NJ
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Core Skills:
+ HPLC and/or UPLC
+ Ability to lead team members: junior Scientists and Biochemists.
Job Description:
+ Run routine assays and develop novel separation and identification assays.
+ Be responsible for separation, characterization, identification of proteins and antibodies utilizing HPLC, cIEF, BioA/GX, as well as other analytical techniques.
+ Developing HPLC & UPLC based chromatography methods including size exclusion, affinity, normal-phase, reverse phase, ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction utilizing DAD, FLD detectors.
Qualifications
+ Requires BS/BA in Chemistry or related sciences or equivalent along with relative experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries). Will substitute relevant work experience in lieu of degree requirement
+ At least 1 year of experience running assays in a laboratory
+ HPLC and UPLC method development experience
+ Experience running routine assays and developing novel separation and identification assays. Experience and thorough understanding of HPLC and UPLC based chromatography (including size exclusion, affinity, normal-phase, reverse phase, ion exchange, and hydrophobic interaction utilizing DAD, FLD detectors)
