Job description

Position Summary:
As a Business Analyst on our Product team, you will play a key role to support with the implementation of strategic business priorities. You will collaborate with senior leaders to develop business and product strategy, and deliver solutions to meet the needs of our consumers. Additionally, you will provide expertise and analysis to understand and document business needs, manage stakeholders, requirements, and ensure traceability. On a bigger scale you will bridge the gap between stakeholders and the development team, interpreting business requirements into an understandable task to match the final software product. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities: *

  • Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and address keys areas to understand their requirements and develop/implement technical solutions to meet them.
  • Advise stakeholders on analytical approaches to improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processes.
  • Effectively document, identify, communicate and present business objectives.
  • Analyze organizational risks, gaps and opportunities associated with future needs and solutions.
  • Facilitate interview with business owners to elicit, capture and prioritize business requirements.
  • Lead requirement definition and analysis, ensuring requirements are complete, concise, traceable and ready to be delivered across owners.
  • Work with business, operational, and technology stakeholders to comprise detailed requirements and data mappings.
  • Support change management process as needed.
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes.
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5+ years as a BA, preferably in the SDLC environment
  • Bachelor's in Business
  • Proven experience bridging the gap between business and technology
  • Solid business analysis understanding
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Competencies:

  • Solid problem solver, conflict resolution skills and analytical thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Knowledge of the wealth management space, especially the SDLC
  • Understanding of development planning activities
  • MS Office, Google Suite, and JIRA
