Job Responsibilities
* Assist project teams on projects and assignments.
* Provide direct support to client's Retail Strategic Planning Manager.
* Review architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations and finish schedules for accuracy of information and redline with corrections.
* Visit retail branches or offices to measure, confirm existing layouts, sketch floorplan changes, take photographs and document information.
* Assist in developing scope and schedule for assigned projects. Including ability to help specify commercial interior finishes taking into account design aesthetic, color coordination and color matching, durability and cost.
* Assist with project related communication and coordination between internal client departments, vendors, design professionals, occupiers and project team members.
* Prepare presentations detailing projects.
* Contact vendors to obtain or review proposals and redline changes.
* Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Review and process project related invoices. Track expenses versus planned project budgets. (approx. 25% of time).
* Support vendor RFP's and contracting efforts - maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
* Ability to read architectural drawings and understand Interior Design related concepts involving furniture and finishes.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients.
* Organizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business.
* Ability to multi-task working within a team structure and independently.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, some knowledge of Microsoft Project a plus.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial Architecture, Interior Design, Project Coordination or related field. Experience in Retail or Banking environment a plus.
