Your role

• conduct strategic analysis on market trends, opportunities and competitors
• play a key role in the analysis, development and execution of strategic and new business initiatives
• support the management and operation of the Workplace Wealth Services business including the development of business cases and impact analysis
• provide research and data analysis on the industry and competitors, working with partners across the firm as well as using external sources
• building business cases for new business and revenue opportunities emerging in the marketplace
• support the development of long-term organizational strategy
• collaborate across business units, providing thought leadership and driving the implementation of business initiatives
• support partners across multiple business units in the design and implementation of operational efficiencies and mandates
• presenting findings, projections and recommended actions
• support and guide senior executive decision-making processes
Your team
You'll be working in the Workplace Wealth Solutions (WWS) Business Strategy team based in Weehawken, NJ and Nashville, TN. WWS is one of the key initiative growth businesses within Global Wealth Management and serves as a qualified lead generator for the broader business. We are a leading provider of retirement, equity plan compensation and financial wellness services for companies and their plan participants.
Your expertise
• degree in business or related field
• ideally 4-6 years plus of financial services industry experience or ability to demonstrate effectiveness in the below attributes
• experience with business strategy development, consulting experience or project related work with a high degree of quantitative analysis
• excellent project management, analytical organizational skills
• a solid background and understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• proactive self-starter who follows up on deliverables and makes observations and strategic recommendations
• effective communicator (written and verbal) who can interface with multiple levels throughout the organization
• highly motivated, ambitious and hard working with a professional demeanor
• a problem solving skills; ability to quickly identify gaps and develop solutions
• someone who has attention to detail, ability to work autonomously, strategic thinking and ability to make business impacting decisions
