Job description
Staffing Network is looking for an excellent Lead Engineer to work for one of their great manufacturing clients located in West Berlin, NJ. The Lead Engineer is responsible for driving the increase demand and success of our client's glass to metal seal production. This is a hands-on position for someone interested in working for a capable, flexible, and expertly designed company in a position that will contribute unique in-depth technical knowledge to solve complex engineering challenges within a team of talented individuals. Duties & Responsibilities
• Design detailed fixtures and tooling.
• Develop new processes for assembly and testing of hermetic seals.
• Develop training for new and revised procedures with the Manufacturing and Production teams.
• Collaborate with Platers regarding yield loss matters.
• Provide expert technical instruction to other department managers.
• Ability to identify capital equipment.
• Establish reporting methods for all KPIs (productivity, yield, performance trends, etc.)
• Work with maintenance team to repair, modify and upgrade manufacturing equipment.
Required Skills & Abilities
• Strong knowledge of plating and testing of hermetic seals.
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with designing and manufacturing hermetic seals, matched and compression.
Benefits
· Ten (10) days of accrued vacation PTO annually, with incremental increases to twenty (20) days annually at five (5) year service anniversary.

Salary
