Robert Half is working with a company who is in need of a Accounts Payable /Account Receivable Supervisor. The ideal candidate will get an opportunity to work directly with the Controller and learn/grow their skill set.

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

Daily account invoicing including electronic invoicing and mailing

Produce monthly statements and mail

Assist Controller in reconciling monthly invoicing to general ledger

Assist Controller in preparing monthly gross receipts tax reports by researching invoices not taxed

Maintain customer Non-taxable transaction certificate database and ensure proper documents are received and filed

Balance all cash drawers daily to cash receipts reports and research difference

Reconcile cash receipts to bank deposit report daily

Clear cash receipts and order entry batches daily in Prelude

Apply payment on accounts daily

Maintain spreadsheet of daily cash over/short and prepare appropriate adjustments

Prepare monthly reconciliation of cash receipts to bank statement

Make account adjustments for write offs and other adjustments

Requirements

5 years of AR experience

Accounts Receivable (AR)
