We are currently inviting applications for a Business Analyst to join the Anderson's Dean's Office assigned to the Sr Associate Dean. The successful candidate will oversee a variety of complex projects related to Anderson's AACSB Accreditation, Faculty Promotion and Tenure Review, faculty and student data analysis, etc. The Business Analyst will work closely with a team of multiple professional staff and faculty administrators and will design, develop, coordinate, and facilitate the execution of numerous specified projects and initiatives that will support Anderson's mission and strategic plan. Establishing project priorities and schedules, providing specialized advice, facilitation, and support to management, faculty, staff, and/or students in the development and implementation of effective systems, procedures, programs, and/or practices will also be critical for this role. This also includes coordination and maintenance of faculty activity tracking software, and program support when required, that includes all aspects of research, teaching, and service within the Anderson School of Management. Performing basic administrative support, calendaring, scheduling, and related duties will also be necessary on an as-needed basis. As an integral team member of Anderson's Dean's Office, this position will interface closely with, department chairs, faculty, and other staff units within Anderson and across UNM.

Candidates with superb analytical and project management skills, who are highly detail-oriented, and who have a background in developing and overseeing complex initiatives, tracking/reporting data, and ensuring project completion are strongly encouraged to apply. A track record of using inclusive practices to communicate and collaborate with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization is critical to the success of this position.

Conditions of Employment

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related discipline
  • Prior experience using tracking, analyzing and reporting data in an academic setting
  • Experience establishing and maintaining records, files and data related to specialized projects
  • Experience with implementing effective reporting/tracking mechanisms for a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies
  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
