Overview:

The Director of Business Development and Provider Outreach leads the PHS Business Development physician liaison team and executes strategic initiatives to further grow Presbyterian Healthcare service lines.

The Business Development & Outreach Director will report to the Chief Operations Executive at Presbyterian Hospital, carrying out critical initiatives of growth and service line development. The Director will lead the business development department outreach efforts, working through data driven decision making and giving detailed insights into market dynamics.

Responsibilities:
Lead business development physician liaison team to achieve meaningful growth in key service areas and delivering a comprehensive ROI analysis of team efforts

Develop outreach strategies, qualify new business or service opportunities, and customize approaches for specific targets based on service line, geographic market, and or healthcare delivery stakeholder

Apply rigorous analytical skills to interpret and clearly communicate up to date business intelligence

Provide service line decision support by using internal and external data sources to provide insightful recommendations

Maintain up to date understanding of key service lines of Presbyterian and relay changes in market dynamics to senior leadership

Collaborate with PHS hospital CEO's and organizational leadership to execute strategic growth initiatives

Craft messaging that liaisons can take into the field to improve understanding of and focus on specialized level of care

Work with medical group leadership, both internal and external, to help foster referral growth and create ease of access for current referral relationships

Conduct outreach training for new hires

Performs other functions as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Must have prior experience in managing or performing external outreach activities with physicians, clinics and/or hospitals.
Requires in-depth knowledge of hospital strategy, as well as service line strategic planning and growth.
Five years of experience in healthcare preferred.
Some overnight travel within New Mexico required.
