About the job
The Human Resource Executive will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, diversity and employee engagement initiatives, and enforcing company policies and practices. The position is also responsible for the development, implementation and administration of policies and programs for staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, regulatory compliance to meet the business strategies and customer requirements of the assigned business units within the framework of overall corporate philosophy and policies, external laws, and regulations.
The Role
- Implementation of Global HR Operating Policies and Procedures; oversee HR-related administrative duties and ensure they are compliant with existing legal and government reporting requirements.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in various Business Units.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Assures compliance with laws and regulations related to employees and their relationship with their employer
- Completes all audits appropriate to the agency including corporate internal compliance, Standard of Business Conduct/Ethics etc.
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) HR-related items are completed as outlined including data accuracy, HRIS & regulatory system
- Work with finance to ensure budget forecasting for staffing (permanent and temporary), payroll, and incentive plan costs
- Lead investigations to resolve issues/conflicts in the workplace with close collaboration with the Head of HR.
- Coach & counsel all managers on policy, performance, behavior, and attendance matters
- Advise supervisors in determining appropriate disciplinary plans of action
- Establishes and maintains an effective and credible relationship with both management and employees; works closely with line management to provide support, plan and problem solve
- Serve as the primary source of HR knowledge in response to employee and/or supervisor requests, be well versed in Global HR Policies, and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR metrics as required

The Candidate
- BS in a relevant discipline (e.g., HR, Business Admin, etc.) required
- Master's degree or MBA preferred
- SPHR a plus
- 5-7 years broad and progressive experience in human resources with advanced knowledge in HR systems, payroll administration, and experience supporting IT environment
- Experience with a matrix organization preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
