Parisella, Vincelli Associates Consulting Group Inc. (PVA Consulting) is made up of a dedicated and passionate group of professionals. For close to thirty years, our focus has been to support organizations across North and Central America to improve their overall operational performance through PVAs proven methodologies, including individual management and frontline coaching, implementation of client-tailored management operating systems, and streamlined business processes. PVAs proven change management practices, through employee engagement, have enabled clients to implement safe, sustainable improvements.
We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals for entry-level and senior positions, such as Project Managers, to join our growing team of experienced and dedicated professionals. The candidates we seek are highly motivated and can demonstrate their in-depth knowledge or have successfully implemented performance and process improvements such as cycle time enhancements, throughput increases, and productivity and cost improvements. The candidates will have implemented or are familiar with management operating systems, including workforce management and planning and scheduling tools. The ideal candidate is familiar with or has successfully applied change management practices and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, management and frontline training, one-on-one coaching, and individual mentoring. The successful candidate(s) is comfortable in an environment that is schedule driven, team-based and requires excellent people and tactical skills.
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career path where you may be assigned to client sites located across North and Central America.
Must-Have the Following Requirements
* Ability to travel 100% of the week (from Sunday night to Friday)
* Have a valid Drivers licence
* Valid passport (American, Canadian and/or Mexican)
Required Qualifications
For entry levels:
* Bachelors Degree such as a BA, BSc, BComm, or BBA, Masters, MBA, focusing on operations management, organizational development, business management, performance enhancement
For senior levels:
* Minimum 3-5 years of overall general business experience, including a management position
* Proven experience driving behavioural change at the individual and organizational levels.
* Proven experience providing training and coaching to Supervisors and Managers in the workplace.
* Participation in a Mentoring Program or proven experience as a Mentor for others
For all levels:
* Strong analytical and mathematical proficiencies.
* Demonstrated knowledge / understanding / exposure to Continuous Improvement concepts such as PMO, Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, JIT, MRP, ERP, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, etc.
* Proven experience working on change implementation projects
* Familiar with and implemented Safety Management Systems.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
* Proficient to expert level with Excel.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
* Organized, disciplined, and motivated to succeed.
* Overall general business experience in sectors such as Utilities, Mining & Metals (Underground, Open Pit, Mills, Maintenance, Mine Planning, etc.), Automotive, Consumer Goods & Services, Energy & Resources, Forest Products, Health Care, Engineering, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, and Transportation & Logistics.
* Certifications such as PMP, Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing, Train The Trainer
* Fluency in a second language (French and / or Spanish).
* Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a constantly changing project environment.
