Sr. Accountant role - can by hybrid after initial onboarding/training!

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidate must possess top-notch analytical skills. In addition to the solid compensation and benefits, this full-time position offers the possibility of growth.

Responsibilities

- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

- Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

- Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

- Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives

- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

- Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

Requirements

Ideal candidate will bring:

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience

- Reconcile Balance Sheet Account experience highly desired

- General ledger maintenance experience desired

- Microsoft Excel experience necessary

- Current and relevant ERP system experience, MS Dynamics Navision
