The HR Coordinator provides critical administrative support to a spectrum of recruiting, onboarding, records management and other employment activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized and personable with meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, the HR Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a uniquely Meow Wolf experience throughout the employment lifecycle through a thoughtful, holistic approach to HR processes.
Requirements
Delivers a transcendental candidate experience through efficient recruiting practices including: posting positions, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, ordering pre-employment screenings, loading onboarding packets and updating new employee records
Establishes and maintains strong candidate relationships: guides individuals through the process and provides timely application status updates
Facilitates otherworldly hiring events by assisting with set up and tear down, preparing interview materials for hiring teams, checking in candidates and providing other support to candidates and employees throughout the event
In coordination with the HR Director, conducts orientations and training sessions
Supports a uniquely Meow Wolf employee experience by planning and executing employee engagement events
Supports the HR Director and Payroll Manager by tracking payroll notes for new hires, status changes, compensation adjustments, etc
Supports the Benefits team to track new hire enrollment completion
Answers basic employee inquiries and elevates questions as appropriate
Processes mail and refers documents to the appropriate individuals
Maintains currency with the latest HR developments and best practices
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle confidential personnel and business information with discretion.
Strong computer literacy required; proficient in Google Suite.
Excellent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
Organized and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Adaptable to changing needs and possess the ability to take on new tasks
Must be agile and adaptable based on the needs of a dynamic work environment and collaboration with diverse teams.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of exposure to Human Resources functions
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dedicated recruiting or talent acquisition role
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative support role
Experience working in an environment where discretion regarding sensitive or confidential information was required
Basic understanding of employment laws
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Paylocity/HRIS
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
Experience updating or maintaining open source CMS platforms (Wordpress, Droopal, etc) preferred
Experience working in a creative organization
An interest in the arts

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners. This position also works in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines and small and/or enclosed spaces.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends and holidays.
