Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a mid level HR Business Partner to support our Space & Intelligence Sector. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to a dynamic growing organization. The ideal candidate will be energetic, quick learner, and ready to make an impact by assisting in delivering customized and practical HR solutions to challenges across a range of HR functions including talent management (workforce planning, retention, succession planning), organization design and effectiveness, engagement and culture, diversity and compensation.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization and client base
- Proactively respond to team, manager, organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
- Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs
- Manage, support, and assist with facilitation of HR projects to include the overall performance management process, employee engagement activities, mentoring programs, and new hire assimilation programs, and other HR projects throughout the year
- Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Recruiting, Learning & Development, Compensation, Legal, and HR Programs teams to implement solutions and help scale the business
- Partner closely with regional HR partners on global strategy and execution
- Work closely with our Employee Relations Partners, supporting employee relations issues as needed
- Participate and lead projects as an integral member of the extended HR community
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Good customer teaming skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Responsive to user requirements and quickly turnaround solutions to users problem sets
Minimum:
- 8 years experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role
- Demonstrates solid judgment and experience working with business leaders
- Effective communication and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates project management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrated experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment and to cultivate effective relationships across teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office skills with focus in Excel and PowerPoint
- Consulting, coaching and facilitation skills
- Possess a can-do attitude and be a self-starter
- Possess good judgment in safeguarding sensitive material and make sound decisions
- Must have experience with unions, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), and negotiations
- Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- BA/BS degree in HR, Business or related field
- Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM)
- Experience with HR software (Workday, iCims, etc)
Colorado Salary Minimum: $67,870.40
Colorado Salary Maximum:$145,100.80
