Job description

JOB OVERVIEW

The Accomplish More Coordinator manages the hotel's financial, human resource, and other administrative activities to provide advice and support to the Chief Wellness Office and department heads to help them focus on branded guest experience. This role gathers and analyzes financial and other business data, manages revenue flow, and controls costs to maximize financial returns. It involves managing daily accounting, reporting, procurement, service contracts, HR administration, and budgeting and related project management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL RETURNS


    -Prepares, analyzes and interprets financial statements, reports, forecasts, and budgets to advise the Chief Wellness Officer and other stakeholders to achieve business goals
    -Prepares hotel budgets, financial forecasts and reports based on inputs from the Chief Wellness Officer and department heads
    -Develops and distributes business outlook and forecasts to department heads for use in identifying cost savings, scheduling, purchasing and other function specific activities
    -Meets monthly with the Chief Wellness Officers and other stakeholders to review hotel P&L performance and collaborate on initiatives to drive performance
    -Reconcile all accounts monthly and oversees the process of credit extension and collection of overdue accounts
    -Prepares daily bank deposits and ensures the hotel has adequate funds in addition to providing daily change for cashiers
    -Tracks service and maintenance contracts to ensure all equipment in excellent working condition
    -Audits and oversees the accuracy of all guest billing and respond to guests' billing inquiries
    -Processes accounts payable and accounts receivables to balance cash flow and reputation with suppliers
    -Performs audits to ensure compliance to Internal Control
    -Tracks applicant flow and keeps employment records
    -Creates and maintains employee files before, during and after employments as required by law
    -Administers the hotel's benefit programs, payroll and policies in accordance with IHG policies and government regulations
    -Assists the Chief Wellness Office and Department Heads in recruitment, orientation, and termination processes
    -Files short-term and long-term disability and worker compensation claims and assists colleagues with the process

    -Assists with the attraction and hiring of people with the right attributes to bring the EVEN Hotels brand to life
    -Actively promotes and facilitates employee participation in the Employee Satisfaction Pulse Survey (ESPS) and achieves established ESPS targets
    -Live the brand by embracing holistic wellness, keeping in tune with the latest in information on health and nutrition, and encouraging colleagues to do the same
    -Works with the department heads to ensure their teams are properly trained and provided the tools and equipment needed, and direct them to resources to learn more about health, wellness and nutrition


GUEST EXPERIENCE:

    -Interacts daily with guests to solicit feedback, builds relationships and brings the EVEN Hotels brand to life
    -Demonstrates BrandHearted leadership by putting the brand at the center of all activities
    -Supports and participates in hotel wellness and scheduled fitness programs/outings regularly and encourages guests to participate
    -Responds promptly and professional on guests' billing inquiries


RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:

    -Promotes and drives engagement in Green Engage, Shelter in A Storm and IHG Academy
    -Conducts and coordinates audits and control checks of company accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations along with IHG policies
    -Maintains property and casualty insurance for the hotel
    -Develops and implements financial control procedures and systems and maintains appropriate documents of audits of hotel accounts and inventories
