Job description
Looking for several experienced test engineers to support existing production and a significant increase in new development programs in the MAS business area in Endicott, NY.
Develop and integrate test software, test equipment and product hardware/software to automate production test of complex military and commercial flight products.
Support Test Engineering leads and manager by providing inputs on proposals.
Demonstrated technical ownership of production test on multiple complex programs.
Support test technicians with difficult troubleshoot of complex problems.
Provide training, guidance and mentoring to less experienced test engineers and test technicians.
Support Test Engineering Manager in planning necessary production test resources to support contract commitments including coordinating new purchases and repair and maintenance of existing equipment.
Ensure commitment to our "Total customer satisfaction" quality policy.
Must be self-directed and have the ability to organize workload to develop a plan to maximize efficiency of performing tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as the candidate acts as an interface with internal and external customers.
Candidate must have flexible schedule and exceptional work ethic to respond to the challenges of a dynamic environment.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
2 year technical degree
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to lead a small team and work independently as part of a larger team
Self directed
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
BSEE or similar 4 year technical degree
Significant experience working in a production test environment on military flight controls
Significant experience working with CsGTI, NI TestStand, Labview, Visual Basic or similar test executives and programming languages utilized in the Test Engineering discipline.
