Job description

Reporting to the SVP, Brand Engagement, the BA/BD Director is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and support to clients in Talent and Business Affairs, to support the ongoing development of staff, to facilitate the efficient interaction between the Talent Group and other disciplines at Extreme Reach.

Responsibilities:

* Proactively engage with all clients and with their Group Account Managers, Account Managers, Producers, Business Affairs and specialty groups within Talent.
* Proactively maintain business relationships with clients and contacts by taking them out to meals, inviting them to events and other relationship building engagements, when possible.
* Seek out and participate in industry events to build a network of clients and potential future team members; work with Marketing to help coordinate events and attendance rosters
* Manage client presentations, lead on-boarding of new accounts and work with Sales to bring in, and close new accounts and maintain and improve relationships with existing accounts
* Partner with Brand Direct clients to develop Production Guidelines that ensure expectations are met and an SOP is in place.
* Act as a resource for Group Account Managers, ensure good working relationships across teams intervening when necessary
* Manage and ensure new staff receive a full onboarding and are set up to succeed
* Support leadership across all departments, engaging in special projects as needed and pulling in appropriate staff to help with completion of projects
* Coordinate staff development and training, performance reviews and time off schedules
* Assist Account Managers with complex client interactions

Requirements

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience advising and providing consultation to clients
* Strong empathy, ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in others and provide coaching to improve and further develop
* At ease in social interactions
* Demonstrated experience providing estimates and advising on collective bargaining agreements
* Demonstrated experience managing work to completion across multiple teams and advocating for efficient work processes
* Demonstrated experience providing feedback and coaching a team
* Ability to see the potential in others and work with them on developing key skills for advancing
* Demonstrated ability to promote Extreme Reach as a solution to clients, ability to interpret client needs into viable solutions across multiple departments if necessary
