Accounting & Operational Due Diligence VP

Job description

Our client, a prestigious alternative asset manager headquartered in Manhattan seeks a senior Fund Accounting and Due Diligence professional to focus on all the firms. The incumbent will have a broad remit report directly into the Managing Director of Due Diligence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct operational and investment due diligence on Hedge Fund Managers as well as other board and Executive Committee stakeholders
• Review Trading and Accounting Operations
• Operational risk management, assessing the efficacy of controls
• Compiling and writing detailed reports
• Maintain pipelines of investment ideas
• Continuous monitoring of the firms Hedge Fund

Requirements:

• 4+ years of prior experience in Operational Due Diligence
• Public Accounting and/or Fund Accounting experience highly desirable
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player
