Administrative Assistant, Fundamental Equities - New York

BlackRock is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to support members of the Fundamental Equities Team in New York. The candidate must have experience supporting multiple team members with global responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be a team player, extremely motivated, resourceful, organized, and able to maximize managers time by completing tasks independently with strong attention to detail.

This role is to provide administrative support to two Managing Directors within the Fundamental Equities Product Strategy Group. The role will also provide administrative support to other Directors and VPs within the group. This is a fast-paced and rapidly growing area of the business which requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team and the foresight to raise issues when appropriate. The role will report into a senior level Executive Assistant within the Fundamental Equity Department.

Your Responsibilities

  • Managing complex schedules, anticipating the needs for each meeting and providing required materials, preparation and transit time
  • Collaborate and partner with other administrative assistants within the Fundamental Equities Team to ensure team coverage as needed.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal technology desk side team to ensure team members are supported with all technology needs
  • Travel management, including booking of transportation, hotel bookings and connections
  • Expense reporting in Concur


Your Qualifications
  • Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft teams
  • Experience working on Concur preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of corporate administrative experience
  • Experience balancing multiple concurrent assignments and individuals, with a high degree of accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
