Job description

Interparfums, a leading luxury fragrance company, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Sales Administration. The position is primarily responsible for supporting the administrative and analytical needs of the field staff, as well as the Director of Sales Planning in planning and managing the US Retail Business. The position is located at our corporate office in New York Ciry.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Sales Analytics: Retail Sales analysis, Top door reports, Contest/Incentives analysis & tracking.
  • Allocations: Prepare and load each season's collateral, promotional, special event and training allocations into ABSolution system. Monitor allocations as orders are transmitted and follow up with any over orders.
  • Freelance: Work with freelance system, CoWorx, to monitor freelance spend as well as provide top side reports and analysis of freelance productivity.
  • Comp Requests: Provide product comps to retailers, coordinate with marketing and creative services to ensure proper items are shipped and corporate guidelines are followed, maintain documentation of comps sent
  • Maintain advertising catalogs from retailers
  • Provide weekly bulletins/emails to field on upcoming events,visuals and/or promotions
  • Provide comprehensive business review for retailer meetings
  • Update account item set up forms, working with Marketing to ensure accurate information.
  • Support Sales Field Organization: Assist field sales force with any requests
  • Primary Support for respective Key Account Managers: Assist with any miscellaneous requests
  • Use the ABSolution to generate reports and access information
  • Special Projects upon request

Experience/Skill Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4-7 years' experience in an analytical capacity
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Retail sales analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills must include formula development, pivot table creation, etc.
  • PowerPoint skills must include the ability to create a presentation from scratch including importing files and graphic design
  • Self-Motivated and resourceful
  • Excellent follow through, detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
