Job description

DNR Diamonds Inc. is looking to expand their New York sales business dev team. We are seeking energetic and talented representatives to join our highly motivated team. Diamond or jewelry experience is not necessary, but you must be comfortable on the phone, generating interest, and qualifying prospects. DNR Diamonds, Inc. is one of the largest US wholesale diamond manufacturers/importers. In business for over 26 years, DNR Diamonds, Inc. holds offices in New York and Chicago and has an exceptional reputation servicing independent retail jewelry stores across North America.

Responsibilities:

· Perform daily cold calls to source new accounts; existing accounts assigned as appropriate

· Maintain and expand our current database of prospects

· Balance traditional in-take calls along with additional creative sales strategies (Facebook Marketplace) to generate sales

· Be responsible for ideating, pricing, and executing on client custom orders in a timely manner

· Communicate with internal team and DNR leadership for pricing and availability of materials and finished products

· Have an ability to adhere to company security and confidentiality policies regarding organization and accounting of product, client information, client credit status.

· Have a willingness to learn and develop stronger sales skills and strategies as well as gain education about the diamond industry if not already possessing basic knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Strong phone presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced growing environment
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree

base + commission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Commission pay

Experience:

  • Sales Experience: 1 year (Required)
