Call Center Receptionists
are the front lines of our practice. If you enjoy interacting with people this is the position for you! Call Center Receptionists must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. They are responsible for providing clear communication and assist patients with their appointments, insurance, and other health care services. This role will serve as a virtual liaison between our families and all Tribeca Pediatrics facilities, guiding callers through the appropriate protocols without compromising the patient experience. We're looking for individuals that are patient, empathetic, passionately communicative, and open to coaching. Role and Responsibility

  • Efficiently communicate and handle routine patient service tasks, but not limited to, verifying, updating, maintaining patient demographics, insurance, electronic files, updating credit cards, collecting past due balances, and managing appointments.
  • Identify patient/family needs; clarify their information; research their issues; then provide solutions and/or alternatives to solve their request.
  • Provide additional education regarding our practice services as needed
  • Providing a high level of customer service and attentiveness to our families and patients.
  • Assist with other related clerical duties as well as tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

  • At least 1-year of Call Center or Front Desk Receptionist experience.
  • At least 1-year of customer service experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-resolution skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new policies and protocols
  • Open availability (Weekend availability wanted!)
