The opportunity
At the Company Digital Studio, our team of designers, videographers, technologists, editors and strategists work together to create superior marketing materials, apps, websites and software. We specialize in creating superior messages that are supported by research, brand strategy, and a clear understanding of business and user needs.
Your key responsibilities
We are looking for Digital Strategy Senior Managers who will be responsible for advising our clients to reshape and transform their businesses through digital in order to deepen customer relationships and improve overall business performance. While the individual assignments of a digital strategist will vary depending on client needs, you should expect to be responsible for a wide range of strategic activities which will likely include:
- Engage directly with client stakeholders and executives to help define their digital vision, strategy, and roadmap, with supporting business case.
- Analyze existing platforms, tools, and processes in the client's digital ecosystem, and recommend innovative, implementable solutions as appropriate based on business and customer needs.
- Plan and facilitate client workshops around digital vision, innovation, and design.
- Assess client operating models, identifying gaps, and making recommendations for future improvement.
- Define strategy and design for customer experience, working closely with user experience (UX) design team members to devise strategic solutions based on stakeholder interviews, research analysis, persona creation, user needs, journey maps, and business requirements definition.
- Generate new business opportunities. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all Company practices to serve client needs
You will lead and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, including extensive engagement with user experience (UX) design team members. You must be willing to take smart risks and champion new ideas.

To qualify for the role you must have
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Interaction Design, Human Factors, eCommerce, Cognition Psychology, Cognitive Science, Communications, Informatics and Design or a related field.
- A minimum of seven years of post-Bachelor's work experience (or six years for a Master's degree); five or more years must relate to digital strategy, transformation and/or customer experience design (preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated ability working in an agile environment in a complex digital organization with a focus on digital strategy, transformation, and operating model design)
- A minimum of five years of experience working in the financial services industry or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company; preferably with a strong consulting background in banking, asset management, capital markets or insurance
- Digital thought leader with a solid understanding of the industry including technology, challenges, leading practices, and trends (e.g. chat bots, internet of things)
- The ability to run workshops with clients to understand needs, articulate vision, and help design strategies and experiences that meet their vision and needs
- Extensive experience in the development of executive presentations and deliverables, comfortable carrying out detailed analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to identify and present key themes and trends in a highly consumable format
- A solid grasp of UX and user centered design best practices (e.g. design thinking, mobile-first, responsive design) and proven ability to collaborate with UX design teams on strategic solutions
- A passion for digital strategy and innovation, including research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies
- We would expect for you to be available to travel outside of your assigned office location at least 80% of the time. Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is required
