RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a top firm located in New York, NY and they are in search for a Remote Lead Product Manager. This firm is a global leader in specialized business news and information serving the legal, real estate, benefits, consulting, insurance, and investment advisory industries. Trusted reporting delivered through innovative technology is the hallmark of the firms award-winning media properties. We need a product manager who has experience managing advertising-supported digital media products.

The firm's product team has some of the following responsibilities:
* Build and manage product roadmaps
* Work alongside the BU's to implement their strategy and roadmap
* Providing recommendations and impact statements to business owners
* Delivering solutions that solve key business & customer problems
* Work with the BU's to define the why, when, and what of the product that is being built
* Present UI/UX design decisions that meet the needs/goals of the BU's
* Measure, analyze and optimize product performance

Responsibilities:
* Work alongside the BU's/stakeholders to understand and implement long-term vision and strategy for the firms' finance, benefits, and real estate media sites
* Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology resources
* Monitor and report on metrics and tactics against each strategy and employ critical thinking when presenting solutions
* Understand key priorities for each product and prioritize goals/objectives accordingly
* Work with the business & editorial teams to identify opportunities in the market and -quick wins- that drive business impact
* Serve as a sounding board and resource for the senior stakeholders
* Define KPIs for measuring product success and share accountability
* Maintain product roadmaps & iteration plans
* Generate insights from data, industry trends, and customer feedback to inform decisions on product prioritization and what goes on the roadmap

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of experience managing advertising-supported digital media products
* Demonstrated success releasing full website designs on-time and on budget
* Demonstrated success with audience growth strategies
* Working technical understanding of content management systems, marketing automation platforms and the development process
* Excellent organizational skills, process-oriented thinking, strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and good grasp of business concepts
* Experienced with the various phases of project management including requirements gathering, business analysis, documentation, QA testing, training, and support
* Resilient and able to add value to a team of seasoned senior product executives who collaborate on strategy and execution for each product
* Knowledgeable about current trends in digital media including leading web, production, and/or business enterprise vendors, as well as outsource/offshore companies and services
* Excellent people skills and team-oriented attitude are essential
* Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration tools
* Product Marketing experience is a plus
* Experience working with recommendation & personalization systems
* High-level understanding of recommendation engines and trend detection algorithms
* Familiarity with data-based intelligence products is a plus
