Job description

The VP-level Management Reporting Analyst provides support for the Finance Management Reporting team for the bank's Investment Banking & Global Markets activities through Executive Committee reporting, while also assisting automation projects & budget planning.

He/she/they will:

• Assist in preparing the Management reporting to the Natixis Americas CIB Executive Committee, Local Business Heads and Natixis Americas Boards, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
• Work with business partners globally to ensure management reporting needs are met, and that questions regarding economic performance are clear, including O2D metrics, cross selling metrics, and client profitability metrics
• Assist in the preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews that analyze the key performance indicators of the Platform
• Analyze & assist in preparing the quarterly Re-Forecast & annual Budget for the Americas Platform
• Assist in monthly Expense analysis including review & maintenance of cost allocation process
• Monitor the performance of the organization, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
• Work with IT partners to enhance business intelligence tooling for the data delivery of management reporting to support the efficiency initiatives of the US platform

Requirements

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience required
• 5+ years' experience working in financial service/banking Industry required
• Broad financial services product knowledge in order to present results to senior management in a written and verbal format
• Identify financial trends by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts
• Experience providing financial analysis for quarterly forecast, Budget, & multi-year plan
• Assisting in the month/quarter end close experience
• Perform analysis and detailed presentation related to financial performance utilize different systems in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines & multiple stake holders
• Attention to detail while developing a deep understanding of key drivers of business performance
• Good communication skills
• Assistance with ad hoc analysis
• Working knowledge of Essbase and Tagetik preferable
• MS Excel and PowerPoint
