Role and Responsibilities:

• The role is accountable for developing and supporting the continued growth of BrokerTec Stream API volumes and counterparties on the BrokerTec platform globally. Key success metrics to include average daily counterparties, daily volumes traded by customer, monitoring of fill, reject and miss ratios and other adoption measures.
• Build strong business relationships with Liquidity Provider and Liquidity Consumer e-Sales, Trading, and Client Services teams
• Influence participant’s eSales to use the BrokerTec platform as a means to further distribute their pricing and extend client reach and align closely with overall strategy for the LP and LC
• Drive tactical product strategy with focus on product roadmaps, defining features and requirements, developing go to market plans for BrokerTec’s Quote Driven Markets business development.
• Become subject matter expert for trading platform protocols, workflows, and functionality available to support internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate and align with other CME divisions including Client Development and Sales, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Government Relations and Legal to execute BrokerTec’s new business development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of fixed income, interest rates, and US Treasuries trading and overall landscape.
• Operational understanding of how banks, hedge funds, high frequency trading firms, and platform providers utilize electronic trading platforms to optimize their businesses and adapt to meet the changing financial landscape.
• Experience working through full product lifecycle including experience capturing actionable feedback and ideas from customers
• Proactive, self-starter mentality is essential.
• Registered Series 7 & 63 or willing to acquire.
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
