Job Details Seeking postdoctoral scholar to join NIH funded nuclear medicine radiation dosimetry software development project at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, USA.Working within a SNMMI MIRD committee sponsored project, we are developing relevant dosimetry related software to be distributed freely in the nuclear medicine community. We are aiming to innovate in the field of internal dosimetry calculations with respect to education, standardization, uncertainty analysis, population processing, as well as develop platforms for further innovation.Strong problem-solving skills in addressing varied problems is crucial. Computer programming and software engineering skills are preferred. Knowledge and experience with MS Excel, Visual Basic, Java, C is useful, but other programming languages are also acceptable. Experience with clinical imaging and/or therapy is a plus but not required. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, while the ability to work independently and complete assigned arms of the project is also essential.For the right candidate, an opportunity to join a combined four-year hybrid research/residency program in Medical Imaging Physics in the Department of Medical Physics is available.
