Job description
Responsibilities:
Working in an innovative team, mostly within the domain of chat/messaging/Machine/Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Distributed Computing:
- Experiment/design/develop solutions using new/emerging technologies.
- Consult on architecture and design, bootstrap, and/or implement strategic projects for Citi Global Wealth
- Architect, implement, and/or validate integrations with 3rd party applications
- Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level, focusing on workflows, quality improvement and data management.
- Integrate new systems and processes with existing ones
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and documenting business needs
- Provide project-level analysis; produce required project analysis documentation (e.g., business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, data flow models, future state proposals, test scripts, project plans, UAT plans, test plans, and change management plans)
- Collaborate closely with developers and offshore teams to implement the requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during quality assurance (QA) process
- Demonstrate a high degree of expertise in business process modelling and notation
- Oversee change management activities to communicate and enable business users on process and system changes utilizing formal and informal written communication methods and training methods (e.g., emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, live or recorded training sessions)
- Training - Coordination and support of training program - work with business areas to develop and/or deploy multi-channel training as needed
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
The IT Project Tech Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
- Bachelor's degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
- Self-starter with experience working as a business analyst or project manager on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
- Experience with establishing and contributing to process improvements
- Experience in dealing with complex projects and multicultural and multi-disciplinary across widely diverse corporate management teams, as well as a broad spectrum of regional and global internal partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, analytical ability, and business judgment
- Possess a healthy balance of business and technical background and experience
- Ability to analyse and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Skills considered a plus:
- UI/UX experience
- Background in chat/messaging applications and mobile development
- Experience working with JIRA and Agile methodologies
