Sales Development Representative Pre IPO, Series A, Hyper Growth, SaaS Financial Crime, East Coast USA, $100,000 OTE plus Equity
Henderson Scott are currently partnered with a sensational hyper growth Financial Crime Vendor who have developed a cutting-edge SaaS solution to service the needs of the Financial Services sector.
Due to their recent round of funding and growth over 2020 they are now looking to hire a Sales Development Representative to cover the East Coast territories.
Description
As a Sales Development Representative, you will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers in your assigned region.
Responsibilities include outbound calls to potential customers for the purpose of qualifying and developing leads, develop interest from various campaigns and set appointments for the sales team.
Requirements
- Respond to, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
- Cleary communicate the value proposition of the solution and assess prospect needs to see if there's a fit
- Hold engaging and knowledgeable conversations throughout the qualification process
- Lead exploratory calls and schedule demos for the direct sales team
- Engage with current customer base and uncover new opportunities
- Achieve assigned targets and KPIs for prospecting and outreaching
- Drive prospects to industry events and seminars
- Maintain CRM with prospecting activity, lead generation and forecasting
- Build knowledge about companies and relationships in the industry using CRM, networking and research
Expectations
- 2 years plus of sales experience- preferably in SaaS
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Proven ability to independently identify and schedule sales demos while assisting in the sales process
- Ability to manager high volume of calls, emails and sales tasks
- Previous experience with logging all activity, tasks, and leads into a CRM
- Self-Starter with great organization skills and a positive attitude
- Highly organized
- Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to thrive in a start-up environment
- Ability to work in Eastern time zone hours
