About the Role

As Sr. Analyst, Marketing Sciences, you will be an important contributor to the analytics, data strategy, and research agenda for BBDO NY. You will be part of a growing capability responsible for providing visibility into marketing performance, establishing a data-driven culture and helping institutionalize the voice of the customer in everything we do for our clients. On any given day, you will...

  • Use data to uncover trends or consumer insights that lead to the next big idea
  • Execute end-to-end analytical process: intake business and marketing challenge, formulation of requirements, data acquisition, identification of methods, analysis and implications towards client business and/or marketing.
  • Support various project types including: forecasting, tracking, analysis of sales, customer segmentation, targeting, or modeling.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness holistically and across TV, digital, social, CRM, and other channels through native analytics platforms, partner measurement solutions, and primary research.
  • Execute quantitative and primary research - including all parts of the process (planning, methodology, survey design, and analysis)
  • Develop or manage the creation of dashboards and reports across clients
  • Design solutions to measure the effectiveness of creative
  • Recommend improvements and ways to optimize marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Identify KPIs and map requirements for successful post-campaign/initiative measurement


What you bring

  • 3+ years experiences in a marketing or business analytics role (agency, media, technology, or other)
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (business, marketing, math, statistics)
  • Familiarity with quantitative research techniques, survey design, and methodology
  • Interest in driving marketing strategy, working with creative teams, and inspiring best-in-class work
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills (complex formulas) and experience with relational databases/SQL
  • Experience with a few of the following: sales, CRM, media, digital/web, social, content, ecommerce, quant research
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.)
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
