Tapestry will be offering internship opportunities which will provide interns the opportunity to develop critical skillsets and gain hands-on experience at our house of modern luxury lifestyle brands. The 2022 program will run from May 31st - August 5th. Paid internship opportunities will be available at each of our brands (Coach, kate spade, Stuart Weitzman) and within our Tapestry functional groups. Here's what you can expect from our internship recruitment process:Application Deadline - January 10th. Job Title: Summer Supply Chain, Product Development & Operations Internships Primary Purpose: The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Supply Chain and Operations to work within the Coach, kate spade, Stuart Weitzman or Tapestry corporate teams.* *Our internship recruiting team will be selecting candidates based on relevant skillsets that could be applicable to internship opportunities within the following departments: Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Project Management, Product Development, 3D Product Development, Sustainability, Procurement, Licensing, and Materials Production. The accomplished individual may possess the ability to... Work across all Materials and Product Development teams, to support Leather, Fabric, Hardware and Color DevelopmentPartner with team members to maintain and organize efficient libraries as well as archiving systemsPossess an awareness of the product development timeline and understand how their function relates to the big pictureMaintain clear communication within the internal and external partners and vendorsHelp in the supplier selection and negotiation process through the use of standard tools and capabilities (RFI, RFP, etc) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersPerform market analysis and benchmark suppliers, products, and spend for assigned projectsAssist in monitoring of supplier performance and work with suppliers to develop product execution timelines, resolve quality / performance issues, and identify opportunities that will drive efficiencies An outstanding professional may have...
