Job description

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will drive business results by producing top IT talent and creating diverse candidate pools for our specialized programs. You will work in our team environment to assist partners ranging from the Fortune 500 to innovative startups. To succeed in this role, you will need to manage the recruiting process for a variety of roles (technical and business), understand the employment market, negotiate compensation, provide valuable insights, and build strong relationships. You will quickly learn how DRUM's solutions fix client problems and deliver on strategic initiatives. We are far from a traditional staffing organization.

Job Responsibilities:

* Drive revenue and growth through effective management of top talent engagement, internal collaboration, and marketing strategies
* Conduct research to map target companies and top talent for client partners
* Create unique and robust search strategies to identify and attract niche skillsets
* Develop innovative ways to raise the bar on how DRUM recruit's talent; suggest tools, process improvements, and more
* Continually contributing to the knowledge base of the Solutions Team, and Client Partners, by providing education on relevant industry knowledge and diverse alternative talent pools
* Conduct and schedule onsite and virtual interviews
* Performing reference checks and present employment offers on behalf of DRUM and client partners
* Build brand recognition by attending and presenting at industry or functional meetings, and forums
* Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the growth of DRUM
* Act as a liaison and person of contact between DRUM consultant(s) and client leadership
* Conduct bi-weekly meetings with consultant(s) to obtain feedback and address any concerns to help streamline efficiencies of DRUM programs
* Plan and host networking events for DRUM consultant(s), including lunch and learns to help with external industry visibility

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of technical recruitment experience
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills
* Excellent collaboration and team-building skills
* Experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
* Organized and methodical; strong prioritization and negotiation skills
* Strong process orientation coupled with an ability to work with virtual teams
* Demonstrated experience in negotiations and difficult conversations
* Passionate about people strategy, recruitment, and industry trends
* Experienced working with business decision-makers
* Skilled at finding out of the box solutions for complex and difficult situations
* Experienced and adept at aligning teams to work toward a common goal
* Creative and innovative; seen as a visionary in his/her approach
* Excellent team builder and player, with a learner philosophy
