Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Time Tax Administrator to help in our Tax Department. Some key responsibilities include assisting with all administrative functions of the tax department, including but not limited to supplies, offsite document storage and postage. The individual should also have knowledge of various tax returns and processes. The Tax Administrator role is a client facing function and is responsible for handling various client requests/correspondence.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Send out Client Organizers

· Filing/Scanning of Tax Documents and Tax Returns

· Scanning of Client Originals into Document/Scan and/or manage process

· Daily use of NetDocs for creating Paperless Tax Environment

· Daily maintenance of Workstream/tracking of work

· Adding/deleting of client information to NetDocs

· Use of E-file system as necessary

· Mailing out Client Correspondence and Tax Returns (E-mail, Certified, Messenger & Fed-Ex)

· Use of ProSystem as needed for Extensions/Estimates/Efile Release in addition to creating locators for new clients

· Contacting clients as needed for information, E-mailing of Returns or requested information

· Use of Fed-Ex/Messenger Websites for mailings

· Tracking multiple items, including but not limited to due dates

Qualifications

The Tax Administrator position typically requires the following qualifications:

· Knowledge of MS Office Suite, ProSystem fx Suite, CCH Workstream and a Document Management System (NetDocs, GoFileRoom, CCH Document)

· Prior experience in a similar role a plus

· Excellent organizational and communication skills a must

· Management skills a plus

· Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.

· Must be able to multi-task and work within strict deadlines
