Penski Staffing, a CorTech company, is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for a Cyber-Security Administrator in the Potsdam, NY area.

Referral Bonus:

The Cyber-Security Administrator will work closely with Information Systems leadership, Compliance staff, partner vendors, and other members of the Department to ensure the systems and electronic data are protected from internal and external unauthorized access, modification, deletion, or disclosure.

-Planning and executing the implementation of new information security solutions, configurations, or enhancements to the existing multi-level security infrastructure.
-Maintains knowledge of current security best practices and works with the organization to implement those that will protect the company data and maintain its security environment.
-Develop and help implement network security policies and procedures.
-Ensures network (LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice) security access protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
-Evaluates, designs, integrates, implements, validates, and documents security
-Administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing, and providing advanced support for the existing multi-level security infrastructure.
-Conducts assessments, audits, and testing of systems.
-Maintains and administers perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
-Performs and/or oversees regular vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security assessments in support of compliance requirements.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
Preferred:
Certifications that are preferred, but not required: CISSP, CISA, GIAC or GCIA

Requirements:
3+ years supporting configuration and testing Firewall, IDS, and IPS technologies
3+ years of experience implementing/deploying Information Security Best Practices, Network Routing, Switching, and Security Design infrastructures
3+ years of experience in Troubleshooting & Analysis tools
