Job description
Regeneron is currently looking for an Analytical Specialist position with a 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm schedule. This position is part of the Analytical Sciences Investigations Team. The Investigations team performs many critical functions to support Regeneron's operations, including method development and product specific studies. This position will be responsible for supporting the automation development ongoing in Quality Control as well as forced degradation studies. The Analytical Specialist will be responsible for hands-on laboratory work but will be anticipated to take on more responsibility in the development and technical space as they progress. The Analytical Specialists also have the opportunity to gain insight into other areas of the business and network throughout Regeneron.
As an Analytical Specialist, a typical day might include the following:
- Perform hands-on wet chemistry to support various projects.
- Work cross-functionally to complete experiments/research to support bringing new technology and assays to production.
- Design and execute research and development experiments to evaluate new and upcoming instrumentation.
- Utilize statistical Design of Experiments to streamline assay development.
- Perform statistical analysis of data to understand trends and identify next steps in assay development.
- Create test method documents that will be used in routine clinical release and stability testing.
- Draft technical reports to summarize development and assay qualification studies.

- Develop and drive scientific and/or business-related improvement ideas.
- Enjoy statistical analysis of data to support theories.
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint,etc).
- Understand working with statistical software such as JMP.
- Enjoy developing novel assays with little initial guidance.
- Have experience in chromatography and/or spectrometric-based assays.
- Have experience with research and development.
- Have experience in a GMP environment.
To be considered for the Analytical Specialist position you must be willing and able to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. For various levels you must have the following:
Analytical Specialist: BS/BA in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Senior Analytical Specialist I: BS/BA in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
